Why Has The Federal Government Declared War On The States?

If you’ve ever wondered what it might be like to live under a President Chavez, you’re getting a good first hand look.

As most of us already knew, the Obama administration has nothing but disdain for the average American bitter clinger. As if the freedom-robbing healthcare bill wasn’t enough, the thug-in-chief is now suing Arizona and halting the collection of oil in the gulf.

I’m surprised that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer was “surprised” to learn that the Feds were coming after Arizona for attempting to enforce Federal law already on the books. From her own press release…

“This is no way to treat the people of Arizona,” said Governor Brewer. “To learn of this lawsuit through an Ecuadorean interview with the Secretary of State is just outrageous. If our own government intends to sue our state to prevent illegal immigration enforcement, the least it can do is inform us before it informs the citizens of another nation.”

Governor Brewer said, “I just visited with the President in the Oval Office about our differences over immigration policy, and the one firm understanding we had was that within two weeks he would provide details of his commitment to deploy National Guard troops to the border. While I am grateful that
communications have taken place about a possible visit by Administration staff before the end of the month, there is not yet a confirmed date. More importantly, no information about additional troop and border security enhancements has been provided by the Obama Administration to the citizens of Arizona.”

Her first mistake was meeting with the liar-in-chief. Her second mistake was believing a word he said. At least she’s fighting back, to some degree.

LA Governor Bobby Jindal is fighting back as well, but it may be too late.

“These barges work. You’ve seen them work. You’ve seen them suck oil out of the water,” said Jindal.

So why stop now?

“The Coast Guard came and shut them down,” Jindal said. “You got men on the barges in the oil, and they have been told by the Coast Guard, ‘Cease and desist. Stop sucking up that oil.'”

A Coast Guard representative told ABC News today that it shares the same goal as the governor.

“We are all in this together. The enemy is the oil,” said Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Dan Lauer.

But the Coast Guard ordered the stoppage because of reasons that Jindal found frustrating. The Coast Guard needed to confirm that there were fire extinguishers and life vests on board, and then it had trouble contacting the people who built the barges.

The governor said he didn’t have the authority to overrule the Coast Guard’s decision, though he said he tried to reach the White House to raise his concerns.

“They promised us they were going to get it done as quickly as possible,” he said. But “every time you talk to someone different at the Coast Guard, you get a different answer.”

When you here President Zero and the rest of the Federal bureaucrats say that they’re doing everything they can, just know that they’re doing everything they can to destroy the country.

Heckuva job, Brownie.

  1. To answer your question, the federal government is trying to eliminate the last vestiges of “local control”. They are moving at an accelerated pace as people, even the more dense people, are starting to notice that something is not right at all.

NAFTA represents the single most creative step towards a New World Order.
–Henry Kissinger, Aug. 1993, Los Angeles Times Syndicate

It was after NAFTA that illegal immigration became a huge deal. The fact that the mysterious “they” are trying to integrate Canada, Mexico, and the United States is patently obvious. Why do we have an “inland port” in Kansas City? The Bush administration promoted the NAFTA superhighway that would connect Canada to Mexico with no customs stops. Is there any wonder he was not gung-ho to “secure the border” when he was planning to bust the border wide open?

I have a blast from the past, 1944 to be exact, taken from “The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America”:
THE NATIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION created the Educational Policies Commission (EPC)in 1932 for the purpose of changing the Goals for American Education. In 1944 the EPC prepared a volume of extreme importance entitled “Education for All American Youth.” This highly promoted document told, in fictional format and as though it were a fait accompli, how the “Planners” would solve all the problems; not just of youth, but of two imaginary communities—a village and a city—through involving citizens in cooperation for the goals of the planners. The following goals are laid out in this book:

    • federal programs for health, education and welfare combined in one giant bureau
    • Head Start programs
    • getting pre-school children into the system
    • teacher participation in curriculum decisions
    • federal funds without federal control
    • youth services through a “poverty program”
    • removal of local control of political and educational matters “without seeming
    to do so”
    • sex education

I would say that they have gone above and beyond those goals as all of these have been accomplished. If you dig into these old documents from the Progressive Era (1913) to the present, your mind will be blown! Better hurry up and download some of this stuff before the internet gets scrubbed!

  2. The more that the “Small People” are exposed to President Amateur’s Agenda, the farther his approval rating drops. He knows this, that’s why he has gone “All In” on the power grab and the hell-bound train to rekindling Soviet lore. The harder we small people push back, the more he’ll keep trying. But, this man is a pussy, bred in the pungency of Ivy Academia and Chicagoland thuggery. If you believe in this country and your children’s futures, never let up on this fukker and his Polit Bureau.

  3. Hillary Clinton released the statement (which should have come from the Justice Dept and NOT the Secty of State) form Ecuador because:

    1. it shows disdain for Arizona and is being released, NOT in the US, but in a “minor” national setting (other country).

    or

    2. the ‘bammy admin is hoping this flies under the radar and doesn’t cause more outrage in combination with the BP/G of M crisis.

Fat chance no one would notice, ‘bammy. And, what did you do? Left it to a girl to spill the beans. Gee, ‘bammy. What balls you have.

  4. The recent spate of earthquakes are caused by our ancestors rolling in their graves for tolerating this outrage. The only way Soros/Petrobas could come to full fruition was by killing the Gulf. Sotardo’s inaction is making this a reality. Talk, though, is in surplus and growing like crude lapping upon the Chandulier shores…

  5. The greatest thing Bobby Jindal could do right now is rip a page out of Andrew Jackson’s playbook: “John Marshall has made his decision; let him enforce it now if he can.”

Obama and the Coast Guard have made their decision, now let them enforce it. Jindal should be on every Sunday morning talk show and out there on the cleaning vessels trying to convince them to clean up the oil anywhere they find it.

He would have no greater photo-op if he ever wanted to run for higher office than him being hauled off in handcuffs because he cares so much about the people of his state that he rebels against a cold and distant federal government that refuses to help and arrests the people that do. This is the essence of civil disobedience.

Mrs. McMurphy reminded me of Jindal walking to the podium when he gave his first big Republican response to one of Obama’s first speeches though. His walk to the podium before speaking definitely didn’t exude manliness.

  6. This is getting bad. Secession is sounding real good to me. The states were designed to be sovereign and policed by the Feds. It’s time this country backs the Az. play.

Oilbama is an idiot. He may single handedly unite this country by default before it’s over. And in that respect, we may finally see something useful come from him.
