You Lie, Part 25,739 and It’s Impeachment Time

My historic post on the historic Comprehensive Illegal Alien Giveaway Speech:

So the bottom line is this: The southern border is more secure today than at any time in the past 20 years. That doesn’t mean we don’t have more work to do. We have to do that work, but it’s important that we acknowledge the facts.

Don’t tell these guys.  They’re really committed to the lie:

Here is the letter by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott:

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, DC 20500

Dear Mr. President,

Deadly violence from drug cartels and transnational gangs in Mexico is knocking on the United States’ door with ever increasing frequency.

Yesterday, gunfire from the cartels pierced that threshold and struck City Hall in El Paso. Fortunately no one was injured or killed. But that good fortune was not the result of effective border control – it was mere luck that the bullets struck buildings rather than bodies.

Luck and good fortune are not effective border enforcement policies. The shocking reality of cross border gunfire proves the cold reality: American lives are at risk. As the attached news article notes: “More than 1,300 people have been murdered in Juárez this year as a war continues relentlessly between the Juárez and Sinaloa drug cartels.” Americans must be protected as this deadly war bulges at our border.

Not protecting our states from foreign invaders, encouraging it in fact, is gross neglect of duty and grounds for Impeachment.  In a time of record unemployment, while Congress is constantly bickering over extending unemployment benefits constituting a “jobs bill”, the US Secretary of Labor is doing promos for a hotline advertising for illegal aliens to call in and “get their due” for the jobs they’ve stolen from the tens of millions of unemployed and underemployed.  Doesn’t she know that she’s breaking the law?

In closing, The Amnestasizer shot his wad of revisionist history in the Statue of Liberty’s hair.

“Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand,” she wrote,

A mighty woman with a torch…
From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome…
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!”…
“Give me your tired, and your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to be free…
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Let us remember these words. For it falls on each generation to ensure that that lamp -– that beacon -– continues to shine as a source of hope around the world, and a source of our prosperity here at home.

Ummm, no. That torch is meant to represent Liberty and Freedom to the world as an example.  A beacon to people escaping oppression not unlike the one being prescribed by Mad King Barack, M.D.  It was not to attract all of the gnats and insects like some ancient bug zapper with the lure of the DREAM Act, ObamaCare, SEIU card-check and a voter ID you commie scumbag.

These women, and men and women across this country like them, remind us that immigrants have always helped to build and defend this country -– and that being an American is not a matter of blood or birth.

Utter insanity.  With this speech, every thief, rapist, drug dealer and murderer in Mexico and Central America knows that if they can get over the border before November that they have a chance at becoming a US citizen without so much as a background check.

I’m not a religious person but God fucking help us all.

  1. It’s actually not insanity, but a planned dissolution of the border. They (the powers that be) have been working on this for years. What do you think NAFTA was really about? Free trade! hahaha. That’s how they did it with the EU, they started out with trade treaties, because every reasonable person likes free trade. But then they start attaching non-trade laws to it and before you know it, your sovereignty has disappeared.

NAFTA represents the single most creative step towards a New World Order.

We have an inland port in Kansas City. Plans have been made for a system of superhighways linking Mexico and Canada. They’ve built I-69 all around Memphis to link up with these intercontinental roads. Our leaders don’t see us as Americans but as North Americans, and right now they’re just trying to figure out a way to make us swallow that. They’ve worked for years to scrub patriotism out of the minds of the young – telling them how evil the founders were for owning slaves and such. Now they’re just waiting it out. I wouldn’t be surprised if the liberals have some sort of voter registration/illegal immigrant crossing push leading up to November. I think Pete Stark might need some help, you know?

  2. THE NEW COLOSSUS

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land,
Here at our sea-washed, sunset- gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome, her mild eyes
    command
The air-bridged harbor that twin-cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she,
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
    The wretched refuse of your teeming shore;
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

There’s nothing in that poem that even remotely suggests “look at our example and suck it.” It’s a pretty clear invitation to the poorest of the poor to come here and make a go of it. “Wretched refuse” and “the homeless” and the “tempest-tost” really doesn’t suggest “only those with credentials and bona-fides need apply.”

  3. Great idea. Let’s go ahead and set the xenophobias aside and fix the system so that the legal process works. The problem here is that the system has been fundamentally broken for decades and all parts of the political spectrum look the other way when it’s convenient, but act all incensed when it’s politically useful. The vast majority of the undocumented aliens are here for the work, not the welfare. The market drives it. A worker visa system that allows for that demand to be met legally and efficiently would be great. Recognition that the broken system currently in place has yielded the status quo with so many here without papers is crucial, as is recognition that the expectation that everyone should drop what they’re doing, go back across the border and wait for a reset is unworkable. The real solution is to rebuild the system from the ground up so that it’s functional, and provide some type of temporary amnesty program to get us from broken to fixed. Once fixed, you have something that’s enforceable, and you might actually have a reasonable chance to secure the border. Instead, everyone wants to point fingers, make ridiculous generalizations about entire populations, and throw down ultimatums that work great for sound bites but not at all for reality.

  4. ARRRGGGHHH!

Do I really have to explain this to you knuckledraggers AGAIN?

People aren’t “illegal”. Jeeez…can’t you wingnuts even read a pre-printed SEIU placard at a standard-regular immigrant rights rally?

This is the “land of the free”. That means everything should be FREE. It means that men, women and children should be FREE to walk into this country without being harassed for an ID card or a birth certificate. It means the less-fortunate of our global brothers and sisters shouldn’t have to PAY for services they should be getting for FREE.

I tell ya, it’s really getting tedious coming over hear and trying to teach you guys.

  5. The Funkhead is unable to distinguish the poem commissioned a generation after the statue was opened with the artist’s intent of the statue itself. It was meant for the world to follow our example, not to come here for free shit.

Noticeably, Zer0 left out the line about the “wretched refuse of your teeming shore” as they’ve already washed up in our emergency rooms, jails and fatal drunk driving accidents.

  6. The legal process would work if the government would enforce it. This is actually one of the few things that is in their job description.

Saying to grant everyone amnesty and then fix the border is like saying we should make water stop from being wet before we can fix the fucking dam.

Reagan tried amnesty. It gave us 5 times more illegal aliens than he granted amnesty to 25 years later.

I’m really shocked that you’re here, Funkmaster Flex. Given your stance I figured you’d hire an illegal to construct all your strawmen and another one to knock it down for you.
