Please Don’t Watch This

Or the Obamessiah will be plenty sore at you and will shove his lawyers all up in your grill.

On Chi-town’s South Side, they could just send over a hit-man. That would draw too much attention in a national campaign I guess. Hit-man, trial lawyer, what’s the difference, really?

I’m thinking about flipping over to see what President Clifford has to say, but I’ll probably watch Roddick v. Santoro instead.

The End is Nigh

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple.

And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation… *

First Up To (Moon) Bat… Omarosa Obama!

Apparently, the bitter one will be headlining tonight. I’m bummed because I will be unable to live-blog or watch it live. Thank goodness for the DVR.

Aides say she will try to introduce her husband to the country by telling his life story as well as endearing anecdotes about their family so that everyday Americans can identify with him.

The candidate’s wife will also showcase herself as a potential first lady who is one of them: She’s a fan of the “Brady Bunch” and “Dick Van Dyke” reruns.

“It will be about the Obama family and the people who inspired them,” Valerie Jarrett, a longtime friend of the Obama’s and a key adviser, told “Good Morning America” today.

Ah, the people who inspired them. Margaret Sanger. Bernadine Dohrn. Bill Ayers. Jeremiah Wright. Tony Rezko.

Nothin’ but class for the Obama family. And, patriots, all!

Along with Omarosa tonight, we’ll have the drunken, homicidal Senator Kennedy making his final stand. There will be much weeping in the protestors’ chicken coops during that one, I’m sure. So much entertainment value in Denver this week it will be hard to keep up. Enjoy!

CORRECTION UPDATE: It’s Omarosa Osama Obama. Don’t know how I missed that with Kennedy showing up tonight. At least I didn’t call her Aunt Esther.

If you missed the Biden/Osama press conference on Saturday, Frank has a transcript that you need to read.

“Why did you wait until 3 AM to send the announcement text message?” a reporter asked.

“Well, I started working on it at 6 PM,” Obama said, “but those text messages are hard. I mean, like each number represents three or four letters… and I forget how you do the punctuation. But, hey eventually I got that message out. And that’s the determination I plan to bring to my presidency… to hit buttons until things get done!”

A Party of The Trial Lawyers, By The Trial Lawyers, And For The Trial Lawyers

Their top three candidates were lawyers.  The final ticket consists of two lawyers whose main benefactors are lawyers.  Now when an ad comes on tv they don’t like, they call their lawyers.

On official Obama letterhead with an implied threat that they will attempt to have a television station’s FCC license yanked for running a campaign ad that is well within the boundaries of facts and decency using an emaciated semantic argument that the ad links The Messiah to terrorism when the ad only links him to a known terrorist.  A terrorist with whom he has ample ties.

You see, when you’re a young Bill Ayers you can attack the system with improvised explosives.  When you’re all grown up and a big boy, you groom radical students to be attorneys who will run for office and suicide bomb your opposition from the inside all nice and legal.

The Obamessiah Picks Blue-Eyed White Devil As Running Mate

I hope he asked his wife Omarosa if this was okay before he pulled the trigger.

You may remember Delaware Senator Joe Biden from political blockbusters of the past such as, “The Clarence Thomas Hearings,” the “1988 Presidential Campaign,” or “The Clean And The Articulate.” Now he’s back for his greatest role as Barack Obama’s vice presidential running mate.

Obama’s decision to select a politician who has served in the United States Senate for 35 years to be his vice presidential running mate shows just how dramatically the political ground has shifted in the two short months since the Illinois senator wrapped up the Democratic nomination based on a message of changing the way politics works in Washington. The “change” candidate has found the need for some “inside the Beltway experience” after all.

If there is anyone who demonstrates change, it’s one of those old liberal white guys who have used race and class warfare inside the beltway for decades to keep people like B. Hussein Obama in their rightful place.

Johnny McShame, you are now free to pick pretty much anyone you want. I recommend this guy.

UPDATE: As BMac deftly points out in the comments, let the backtracking begin for one of the left’s fattest, lamest half-wits.

How will liberals who got their jockeys in a pinch over Biden’s “Clean, Articulate” remarks reconcile this move? Example A:

Oliver Willis, January 31, 2007 -

Joe Biden Is A Farking Idiot
His presidential campaign is the Titanic. His idiot mouth has killed it.

UPDATE: The audio of Biden’s comments are out and they don’t change a thing. What he said was racist, offensive, and not representing any of the qualities of the Democratic party or America.

Today - Oliver Willis, August 23, 2008

It’s Biden!
“Hey Joe? You want in?”
“Bring it, bro.”

Apparently official now. The campaign is a malarkey free zone now!

“Bring it, bro” indeed. The utter lack of consistency and reflexively playing of the race card when convenient.

I don’t know how you stomach visiting such centers of digital idiocy, Bmac. You must be a masochist, there’s no other explanation.

And Serr8d throws us a bone. Obonga-Bidog ‘08! Heh!

UPDATE THE SECOND: At least someone at the Juan McCain camp stayed up late enough to get things started on the right foot.

BARACK OBAMA DOESN’T LIKE BLACK PEOPLE UPDATE: Harvey asks the most important question of the day: Why couldn’t B. Hussein have found a qualified running mate of color?

GOT HOPE? UPDATE: Please help feed Obama’s brother. Wait, maybe now Joe Biden will take care of George Obama. That’s the least he can do, the white devil.

Knoxville Turning Into the O.K. Corral?

To paraphrase the Obamessiah, “this is not the Knoxville I used to know.”

One student dead in Central High School shooting.

Kevin Perry, pastor of Word of Life Ministries in the Burlington community, said he talked to a student who attends his church and was in the cafeteria at the time of the shooting.

“He saw them when they were arguing and pushing and shoving,” Perry said. “He didn’t see the guy shoot him. What he did see was the guy fall.

“He shot the guy in the chest and casually walked away as if nothing had happened.”

Student Devin Dial, a junior, said the shooting happened shortly after 8 a.m.

“I walked in and went straight to the Commons,” she said.

“I didn’t hear it, but I saw them go to the ground.

“I saw (the wounded boy) go to the ground and start shaking.”

She said she called her mother and got out of the school.

Early word on radio reports was that this was not random, but an altercation between students. There were also reports of the shooter being hispanic and the victim being white - this should automatically qualify as a hate crime, no? It will be interesting to watch the media dance around the racial component and whether or not the shooter turns out to be legal. Watch the media process at work as this unfolds.

Thoughts and prayers to the victim and the victim’s family.

UPDATE: Turns out murder runs in the family for the shooter.

Here is more on the victim as well.

UPDATE: Insty pretty much nails it.

All of this Bigfoot talk of late reminded me of a wonderful show I once enjoyed on Saturday mornings when I was an even tinier TinyE: Bigfoot and Wildboy!

After watching this a few times, I am convinced that these two would make great nominees for President and VP. These guys could destroy Al Kida and his cousin Ben Laudin with their bare hands!

Spun Gold

China really seems to be riding high after the gymnastics competition but something about their performance seems a little bit uneven:

Olympics-China praises gold haul as sign of its rise

By Chris Buckley

BEIJING (Reuters) - A haul of Olympic gold by China and other Asian nations shows their growing strength in and out of the sports arena, and Western powers should prepare for more such challenges, Chinese official media said on Thursday.

[...]

“The growing redirection of Olympic gold medals is because the old disparities between competitive sports levels due to historical and economic causes is being constantly overturned,” said a commentary in the overseas edition of the ruling Communist Party’s paper.

Gloat now, ChiComs.  The bigger smaller they are, the harder they fall.

The difference between your competitiveness in the marketplace and in the Olympics though is that in the Olympics you’re allegedly not allowed to exploit underage child labor to do itGateway’s got the screenshots of the official ChiCom sites where they have whitewashed the ages of their female gymnasts and provided false documentation to the Olympic Committee so that they would be allowed to cheat.

As a result, The OIC should immediately investigate and revoke those ill-gotten medals.  Time to send in the government jackboots to pluck the next generation of cheaters from their mothers’ breasts.

Blog Against Racism

This is actually pretty funny, and I’m almost certain it’s a parody. The problem is that this is exactly what young B. Hussein Obama supporters sound like when CNN shoves their high-powered microphones in their acne-riddled faces.

(via Rob)

On a side note, my boy Dave asked me at lunch who I thought Hussein’s VP pick was going to be. I said, that’s easy, Osama Bin Laden. That will make the bumper stickers easier to visualize. Obama/Bin Laden 08. This will also keep Ted Kennedy from getting even more confused as he lies around at home watching Olberdouche on MSNBC.

I’m starting to sound like Swamp Rabbit now.

Suspicious! World Events Timed to Benefit Republicans

Could it be that the violent and unpredictable nature of our world causes voters to prefer Republicans?

Might it also be possible that said world is in this state constantly?

Nah.

In classic “Wag The Dog” scenario there is a neat little war brewing between American and Russian proxies, and real Russian troops, in the Caucacus Mountains on the Russian border.

It couldn’t come at a better time for the Republicans.

McCain gets to act and talk tough against the Russians, while Obama is on vacation in Hawaii, issuing “can’t we all get along statements.”

It perfectly augments Republican campaign points: Obama is not ready. He is not tough, experienced enough to deal with a dangerous world.

Let’s give points to the bedwetter, he’s right about about that. Is it our fault that visions of rainbows and lollipops dissipate at the first strong wind of geopolitical reality?

Not related, but kinda cool, eh?

Making Sense in the MSM

Here is a great editorial from the Washington Post sure to irritate Democrats who are bent on saving the world. And by saving the world, I mean their ocean views from Pacific Heights.

I’ll give you the conclusion, but you need to go and read the clear-headed article.

The strongest argument against drilling is that it could distract the country from a pursuit of alternative sources of energy. There’s no question that the administration has been lax on that front. True leadership would emphasize both alternative sources and rational approaches to developing oil and natural gas. No, the United States cannot drill its way to energy independence. But with the roaring economies of China and India gobbling up oil in the two countries’ latter-day industrial revolutions, the United States can no longer afford to turn its back on finding all the sources of fuel necessary to maintain its economy and its standard of living. What’s required is a long-term, comprehensive plan that includes wind, solar, geothermal, biofuels and nuclear — and that acknowledges that oil and gas will be instrumental to the U.S. economy for many years to come.

Georgia Invaded

Meh, I got nothing.

UPDATE (Preston): Wrong Georgia, Cranky.

In 2001, when President Junior looked into Putin’s “soul”, I have to wonder if he missed that little piece that has the capacity to carry on the time-honored Soviet traditions of blatantly targeting civilians in his quest for power, control and economic gain.

Nice soul you got there, Poot

Russia’s still the same old CCCP, don’t forget that. They also don’t give a shit what anyone has to say about who they slaughter and how they go about it. The silence from the International ANSWER-types tells you all you need to know about the anti-war left. They don’t want anything to do with the countries that actually target civilians.

So Edwards Lied. Big Deal.

So he chose to sling his legal briefs across the lampshade on a nightstand of somebody other than his fatty, cancer-riddled wife.  Gingrich did it!  McCain did it!  I don’t really care. The only thing that matters to me is a candidate’s integrity on the issues.  After all, if he has the integrity to screw over the most important person in his life for the last 30 years after he sent her out in a wig and crutches to attack Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama while he hid behind her disease how could that possibly reflect on his decision making with more power?

Who cares?  I mean, like, that’s between them and stuff.  She needs to pull herself up out of chemotherapy and go into psychotherapy until they can hash out why she isn’t ringing his bell.

So he’s his chief fundraisers have been paying his mistress off under the table.  So Mr. Two-Americas sent his bastard child off with his single mother.  So he made one of his married apparatchiks take the fall for it.  So he hid it for a year.  So the national press refused to cover it as a favor to him out of more respect for his wife than he ever had for her.

God.  Who hasn’t done the exact same thing?

In closing, if you believe half the garbage you write you should demand that Edwards retain a primetime speech at the Democrat Convention.  Otherwise, you’re just a lying, spinning shitbag.  Of that, I’m already 99% sure*.

Exurban has the photo no one wants to see.

Outside The Narrative Update:  Elizabeth Edwards pens a diary for the Kossacks tonight:

Our family has been through a lot. Some caused by nature, some caused by human weakness, and some – most recently – caused by the desire for sensationalism and profit without any regard for the human consequences. None of these has been easy.  But we have stood with one another through them all.  Although John believes he should stand alone and take the consequences of his action now, when the door closes behind him, he has his family waiting for him.

Yes.  And completely known to you that family behind that door was in a hotel room keeping baby up at 2 in the morning to see daddy.

John made a terrible mistake in 2006.  The fact that it is a mistake that many others have made before him did not make it any easier for me to hear when he told me what he had done. But he did tell me. And we began a long and painful process in 2006, a process oddly made somewhat easier with my diagnosis in March of 2007.

So that’s an admission, right?  That’s saying she knew that he was out there lying to the cameras when this story broke in December 2007.  Though poor, poor John Edwards is neither black or a woman*, she used her cancer diagnosis as a political tool to cover for her philandering, jobless, unelected husband.

When it comes to class, that’s apparently something that someone firmly ensconced in the better of the Two Americas still can’t buy.

The Less Things Change, The More They Stay The Same

***UPDATED*** True to Orwellian form, the Russians are claiming that the US is orchestrating the violence from behind the scenes.  Yes, we made the Russians send in 150 of their own tanks to attack a civilian population.

How we’re being depicted on the front page of the Communist house organ this morning.

Their lead op-ed simply has to be read to be believed.  Standard Soviet-issue smear campaign to sell to a people so stupid that they marvel at how brightly their chains sparkle.

*********************

While the world turns its attention to the shiny object of the ChiCom Olympic PR campaign and and while the shovel pats down the last bit of soil onto Solzhenitsyn’s grave, the Russians have invaded Georgia in a deliberate act of war:

One hundred and fifty Russian tanks, armoured personnel carriers and other vehicles have entered South Ossetia,” President Saakashvili of Georgia told reporters in Tbilisi. “This is a clear intrusion on another country’s territory. We have Russian tanks on our territory, jets on our territory in broad daylight.”

Mr Saakashvili added that Georgian forces had downed two Russian jet fighters over Georgian territory.

Putin declares war on a US ally.

The area is of strategic importance because of the oil pipeline that helps keep their crooked empire awash in filthy lucre.

Did the UN give their Absolute Moral Authority permission slip for this or is the condemnation forthcoming?

Either way, it’s time to throw these hoods out the G8 - yesterday.

Though I don’t support McCain, he has already issued a statement on the subject:

“Today, news reports indicate that Russian military forces crossed an internationally-recognized border into thesovereign territory of Georgia. Russia should immediately and unconditionally cease its military operations and withdraw all forces from sovereign Georgian territory. What is most critical now is to avoid further confrontation between Russian and Georgian military forces. The consequences for Euro-Atlantic stability and security are grave.

“The government of Georgia has called for a cease-fire and for a resumption of direct talks on South Ossetia with international mediators. The U.S. should immediately convene an emergency session of the United Nations Security Council to call on Russia to reverse course. The U.S. should immediately work with the EU and the OSCE to put diplomatic pressure on Russia to reverse this perilous course it has chosen. We should immediately call a meeting of the North Atlantic Council to assess Georgia’s security and review measures NATO can take to contribute to stabilizing this very dangerous situation. Finally, the international community needs to establish a truly independent and neutral peacekeeping force in South Ossetia.”

Sorry to interrupt your Hawaiian vacation, Senator but the world events don’t stop because you decide to go surfing and see how granny is recovering from that freak bus accident.

Here we go.  The Messiah asks the Georgians to show restraint while they are being invaded:

“I strongly condemn the outbreak of violence in Georgia, and urge an immediate end to armed conflict. Now is the time for Georgia and Russia to show restraint, and to avoid an escalation to full scale war.  Georgia’s territorial integrity must be respected. All sides should enter into direct talks on behalf of stability in Georgia, and the United States, the United Nations Security Council, and the international community should fully support a peaceful resolution to this crisis.”

I don’t see a NATO mention there.

Respect isn’t something you get by asking for it.  But we must be sure to blame the victim for the violence.  The world better get used to that if you think that the Soviets are going to peacefully sit back on their petrol-stained laurels for the next decade after this aggression in broad daylight.  Especially with a spineless “peace at all costs” placater like the Messiah.

The international community always supports peaceful resolutions - they never seem to support doing anything about it though.   These two statements provide illuminating revelations as to how world conflicts will be handled from the future Commander-In-Chief.

As far as our current Commander-In-Chief, he should stand up and walk out of the Olympics immediately unless China denounces their military partner’s attack.  All U.S. athletes should follow his lead and not give credibility to this distraction.  It is difficult to imagine that the Chinese did not know about this attack in advance.

Attack of the Top Secret Sino-Sluts

This one is simply too good to check.   Cub reporter Joseph Farah is live in London getting inoculated from a lethal dose of yellow fever with legs.  Indeed, no two-bit ChiCom siren is going to entrap him long time:

China’s Secret Intelligence Service, CSIS, has trained more than 1,000 of its most beautiful female agents to launch “honey trap” missions against British and other foreign businessmen and key diplomatic aides accompanying foreign leaders to the Olympic Games, according to a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

[...]

Earlier this year a senior aide of prime minister Gordon Brown was caught in a “honey trap” by a Chinese female agent he met in a Beijing nightclub and took back to his hotel room. In the morning, the aide discovered she had stolen his Blackberry. It contained secret Whitehall contact numbers.

It’s hard to look the boss in the eye on a Monday morning when the Pretty Woman of Peking has got you by blackberries.  But who poses the highest risk of getting targeted by China’s heatseeking superhoes?  If you guessed the dude in the Battlestar Galactica t-shirt in IT, you already know too much:

“We know that many of those places have been chosen as ideal pick-up places for foreigners. They are particularly looking for people who work in the IT industry, or who have links with major banks or financial services firms,” Evans warned Whitehall mandarins, ministerial aides and top businessmen before they left for Beijing.

Make that geekseeking superhoes.  Our nation’s swift reaction to Mr. Farah’s brave reporting must not be delayed.  If our government can’t pass emergency legislation to create a strategic poon platoon to defend our nation’s nerdy nether-regions from the lotiony hands of Suzie Wong then the secret to defeating Lord Sargerus at The Battle of the Mystic Elf cave with only Class 4 bio-restorative armor may already be lost.

They Keep Pulling Me Back In!

Yes, I’m thoroughly disgusted with the democratic process. It seems our choices are down to the narcissistic, greedy guy who promises to defend marriage against gays and the narcissisict, greedy guy who promises to keep abortion unrestricted until the fetus enters pre-school. Both are in D.C. by the way, to secure money for the highway exit near the property they own.

However, like the proverbial abused wife, I just can stay away.

If you can relate, then you’ll like these activist sites:

The RINO Hunters
As they helpfully explain

Mommy, What’s a RINO?

A RINO is a Republican characterized by insufficient loyalty to certain conservative principles. Since the first RINO was labeled in 1994, the population has flourished in a variety of environments and at all levels of politics. There’s even a group that maintains their own “RINO Watch” online. Because the species was only recently identified, and the variety of political animals is vast, readers may understandably wonder how to tell a RINO from a “real” Republican.

Down the Ticket
This site follows emerging candidates who stand for conservative principles and more importantly, are not incumbents.

Check out this highfalutin’ mission statement:

This site was started in July 2008 to promote conservative candidates in Congressional elections across the United States. This site believes that even if you are disappointed with the current GOP leadership, there are still many principled conservative candidates worthy of support.
